Hidlydd pas isel RF yw hidlydd prosesu signalau sy'n cadw signalau amledd isel trwy gael gwared ar signalau amledd uchel. Mae'n caniatáu i signalau ag amleddau sy'n llai na throthwy penodol basio, ond yn gwrthod signalau ag amleddau sy'n fwy na'r trothwy hwnnw.

1. Signal llyfn
Defnyddir hidlydd pas isel amledd uchel yn bennaf i lyfnhau'r signal, gall gael gwared ar y sŵn yn y signal amledd uchel, fel bod y signal yn dod yn fwy sefydlog. Mewn achosion lle mae angen signal llyfn, gall yr hidlydd pas isel microstrip gael gwared ar sŵn ymyrraeth amledd uchel, gan wneud y system yn fwy dibynadwy a sefydlog.
2. Lleihau sŵn
Ni fydd hidlydd pas isel yn effeithio ar y signal amledd isel, tra'n cadw'r signal amledd isel, gellir hidlo sŵn amledd uchel allan. Mewn prosesu sain neu brosesu delweddau, gall hidlwyr pas isel hidlo sŵn allan a gwneud y signal wedi'i brosesu'n gliriach.
3. Lleihau'r gwall
Gall hidlydd pas isel leihau'r gwall, yn arbennig o addas ar gyfer mesur offerynnau manwl gywir. Mewn rhai mesuriadau heriol, gall yr hidlydd pas isel gael gwared ar sŵn, ymyrraeth a ffactorau eraill, fel bod y canlyniadau mesur yn fwy cywir a dibynadwy.
